Competitions for players at Stage Four

Players at Stage Four on the FourCoach curriculum will have been assessed as being competent in the following skills:
* Consistently hits groundstrokes into play, striking the middle of the strings
* Can serve into play consistently
* Uses slice backhands for recovery and net approach
* Employs lobs and drop-shots successfully
* Can place a return of serve cross-court, down the middle and down the line with accuracy
* Can use both side and open stance on the forehand

* Can score regular games, sets, tie-breakers and matches
* Place serve out wide, at the body and down the tee
* Can serve flat, with slice and with topspin
* Can serve and volley
* Can volley at shoulder height, waist height and down low
* Can lob offensively and defensively and from a volley
* Can use topspin to drop a shot at a net-player's feet
* Can cross, use tandem and use the i-formation in doubles play
