Eight Players Maximum

Players will be grouped by ability. These groups will be fluid and determined by singles rankings that are updated weekly (see below). Eight players over two courts: one singles match-play court (2 players) and one coaching, fitness and doubles match-play court (6 players). Each court will have an on-court coach who will be present for the entire two hours.

Court One

- All players play a total of seven tie-breakers across the two hours. This will give them a wide range of variety of opponent and plenty of practice.
- A coach is on court for the entire duration of the two hours and not only oversees the smooth running of the draw but also provides valuable feedback to players in regards to tactics, scoring, technique and sportsmanship.
- The players within the 8 are all matched according to their ability. Each week the win/loss totals are added to a rankings ladder which determines the composition of groups for the proceeding week/s.
- Competitions run for 10 weeks and at the completion, prizes are given for (a) top ranked player; (b) hardest worker; (c) most improved; (d) future captains (5 awards)
